The listings here intend to keep parents informed and students reminded of homework assignments.  Significant home study is necessary for a student’s academic success at Malden Catholic.  To be fully prepared for each day, the average student should typically spend three hours in out-of-class preparation. Homework includes not only written work, but also study and review of the day’s class work as well as preparation of material for the next day.  Students should develop attitudes of industry and concern for both class work and homework.  Students may be kept after school to complete missing homework.

Whenever a student misses class due to tardiness, dismissal, or an in-school appointment with an administrator, guidance counselor, campus minister, college representative, or the school nurse, the student must follow the same procedure for obtaining make-up work that pertains to absence from school.   On request, the School Office will provide assignments for students who are absent for more than four consecutive days.  Otherwise, students should use the listings here or contact a classmate.

Students and parents, please be informed that teachers may at any time amend posted assignments.  Students should, therefore, always check assignment accuracy with teachers upon their return.

Please note the the offical homework assignment is posted on the board and it is the student's responsibility to write down the assignment.
