The Malden Catholic Athletic program pushes students towards excellence.  All of Malden Catholic athletic programs are coached by experienced professionals who expect their best out of their athletes and expect them to carry on the tradition that other athletes have carried on before them.

Some of the most talented, professional athletes were Malden Catholic Lancers, including Keith Tkachuk '90, who now plays for the National Hockey League's, Atlanta Thrashers.  As a member of Team USA in the Hockey World Cup competitions in 2004, Keith scored four of Team USA’s five goals and had one assist in their 5-3 win over Russia.

Malden Catholic can also claim responsibility for starting the career of Baseball Legend and Hall of Famer, Babe Ruth.  Also, Malden Catholic's football team, as legend goes, was kick started by Notre Dame legendary coach, Knute Rockne.

The school offers a number of athletic programs as well as fun and competitive intramural sports.  We offer an opportunity for everyone to participate and be part of the team. For more infomation about any specific athletic program, please contact the Athletic Director Mr. Patrick Driscoll at 781-322-3098.
