Academic Enrichment Workshops
In addition to our Summer School Program during the month of July, Malden Catholic High School offers academic enrichment workshops to all incoming freshmen whose Entrance Test profile (typically if below the 25th percentile) and study skills suggest that some summer skill-building will be helpful. These workshops are at no cost to the student

These engaging and beneficial workshops will not only emphasize mathematical, verbal and study skills but will also assist students with their summer enrichment requirement by solving selected math problems in the Mathematical Connections booklet as well as reviewing, discussing and analyzing the major points of the novel, The Contender.
These highly recommended workshops will provide students a leg-up on their required summer enrichment work and will serve as a rewarding forum to improve academic skill sets. Additionally, these workshops will offer students an opportunity to develop a comfort level with the school building while familiarizing them with some faculty and staff members.
